According to CasinosGeorgia.com, Veikkaus is the state-owned casino operator in Finland that has the monopoly on casinos in the country. The deal for Playtech to enter the Live Casino Market in Finland dates back to February of 2024. However, it took several months before their live casino platform was able to go live in Finland.

According to company spokesperson, the two organizations aim to enhance their existing partnership agreement. Following their collaboration initiated in February, their joint efforts in Finland now encompass online poker and casino, VLT machines, and a casino management system. This latest agreement positions Playtech as Veikkaus’ inaugural live casino supplier.
By securing the live casino tender, Playtech will debut live dealer games in the Finnish market, having established a long-term framework agreement with the operator for an initial duration of six years.
This initiative will not only deliver Playtech’s live titles to online casino players in Finland but will also enable Veikkaus to introduce its own branded live casino, with Playtech assisting in the setup utilizing its studio facilities.
November proved to be a significant month for Playtech, as the supplier announced the continuation of its partnership with Continent 8 Technologies, a collaboration that has been in place for two decades.
This announcement was succeeded by the introduction of a new mobile sportsbook and casino agreement established with Delaware North. Additionally, Playtech expanded its existing partnership with Bar One Racing last week.
